Lunch Box

I opened Hayz's lunch box and there was a half eaten sandwich in there. Wrapped in glad-wrap.

I don't know why but it seemed so sweet to me that there was half a sandwich - and that it was wrapped up. I guess a bit of it is relief that she is eating, and a bit of it is knowing that she is growing up and knows enough to re-wrap her food.

Being a parent becomes harder as your kids get older - but for all the right reasons.
