We've had a terrific Australia Day weekend so far. On Saturday we had a BBQ for a large chunk (but not all) of the family and on Sunday we had another for the family Chef. While Mr Chef and myself built a beautiful new fence and gate to make a sub-yard for the pups Mrs Chef and Mrs J cooked up a feast. And did a very fine job of it.
We had our first puppy escape yesterday. They found a split fence pailing and managed force the split just wide enough to sneak out the back and onto the road behind us. Much panic ensued - mainly because we were scared they would try to cross the (at times busy) road. Luckily they came back of their own accord and the hole has now been remedied.
We've had a bit of a sleepover too - Hayzey is at the Chef's house with their own little Hayzey while LGR has his mate and his mate's big sister over for a sleep. It's been pretty easy so far - they are all still asleep and we haven't had to do anything to look after them.
