It's my Mum's birthday today - and she celebrated by spending her 30th consecutive day in hospital.
I managed to get over to see her after work and was there at just the right time to run into Aunt LJ and her cute little family. After forever (maybe 15-20 minutes) we finally got in to see Mum (she was with some nurses) and celebrated by handing over a card, a kiss and having some ice cream cake!!!
I am very sure there will be a celebration when she finally gets out of hospital - probably sometime next week now.
