Canberra - The Final Day

We got another sleep in today - LGR and myself until 06:45 and CJ and Hayzey until about 07:15. Nice - until you remember that LGR is still restless and CJ woke up three times during the night.

Today was our last day in Canberra - and Pampar managed to roster himself a day off work. We had a breakfast which seemed to last for hours and in the midst of all this CJ and I reclaimed all the detrius we had spread over the house during our stay. We think. The key to my Corolla snapped out of it's plastic housing somewhere between home greater Canberra so that may still be in the house. Maybe....

LGR started to get restless at about 10:45 so we all rugged up and went out for a walk. We visited a pond and failed to find a single duck (but there were some very disinterested carp) before having a little meander around the neighbourhood.

We ended up leaving Pampar's at about 11:45 and drove relentlessly until we got to Bowral for some lunch. We'd promised LGR a park; but had to settle for McDonalds and the play area they have. He also got an ice-cream so he wasn't too upset.

The trip from Bowral back home was interesting - there was plenty of rain and some of it was very heavy. (It's been raing for the past couple of days - it even rained in Goulbourn when we were there). Hayzey was cranky, LGR was singing and it was raing - a nice trip :-)

Suffice to say we got back home safe and sound and now have to prepare for life back in the real world.
