It's been a couple of days since I've last posted .... and a few things have happened.
LGR and I went out for our first bike ride yesterday. It took me almost three hours to get the booster seat on the back of my pushbike but it is well and truly worth the effort. He loved it. We were only out for about 45 minutes but he chatter the entire way. We will definitely be going for more rides in the future.
Hayzey has, in the space of 20 days, gone from not moving at all (unless you include rolling) to doing a full army crawl and is now rocking on her hands and knees. Hayz is pleased as punch about this. Every time she gets up and rocks she smiles and drools and looks very happy with herself.
What else? We've had some dinner guests. Aunty BJ came over on Thursday night and confirmed that a visit to her Dad's farm can be organised. So we'll have to do something about that. LGR in particular would enjoy - but if nothing else it would be a nice day out in the country.
We also had the clan McK and the Chefs over last evening - with all their kids. I think there were 7 kids in the house, 6 of whom were 3 years old or less. It was noisy and hard to get conversational flow happening but the kiddies behaved and I think a pleasant enough time was had by all.
